No. All your data — prayer logs, Tasbeeh counts, settings, and wellness tracking — is stored locally on your device. We use anonymous analytics only to improve the app. You can disable analytics in Settings.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple/Google. On iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Sakinah → Cancel. On Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Sakinah → Cancel.
We believe your worship is between you and Allah. No account means no data on our servers, no password to forget, and no risk of data breaches. Your data stays on your device.
Sakinah supports 15 languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian, Urdu, Bengali, Persian, French, Malay, Chinese, Russian, Swahili, Hindi, Hausa, and Kazakh.
The Qibla compass uses your device's built-in magnetometer. For best accuracy, keep your device away from metal objects and calibrate the compass if prompted. The direction is calculated as a great-circle bearing to the Kaaba in Mecca.
